Not every doula-client relationship is the right fit — and I'd rather you know that before you fill out the form than after we've had a consult call.

I support clients who are choosing physiological, natural birth and want a team built to protect that choice. My job isn't to manage you through your birth. It's to help you lead it.

This is probably a good fit if:

  • You trust your body to know how to do this

  • You want a birth team that reinforces your instincts, not one that overrides them

  • You're actively preparing — mentally, physically, logistically — not just hoping it goes fine and figuring it out in the room

  • Informed consent matters to you as a real, ongoing conversation, not a form you sign at intake

  • You want support that's rooted in body sovereignty, nervous system safety, and evidence — not fear

This might not be the right fit if:

  • You're looking for someone to co-sign a fully medicalized plan with little room for movement, instinct, or change

  • You'd rather your provider lead and you follow

  • You haven't started doing the reading, thinking, or prep work yet and want someone to hand you a script

One honest note: Supporting a natural birth doesn't mean I'm anti-medical, and it doesn't mean every birth I support stays intervention-free. Sometimes bodies, babies, or circumstances change course, and that's not a failure — that's birth. What I'm looking for isn't a guarantee of outcome. It's alignment on how we get there: with your instincts and your voice at the center, whatever the birth ends up looking like.

If this sounds like your people, I'd love to hear from you. I take on a limited number of due dates each season so I can show up fully for the clients I work with — so if you're feeling a yes, don't wait too long to reach out.
